This morning, on page A5 of the Wall Street Journal, there is a full one-page ad from the FDIC. Ad states that FDIC insures deposits up to 100K, with certain retirement deposits being insured up to 250K. Ad uses pictures of $100,000 bill and 1 cent, stating that: "Insuring deposits up to $100,000 without anyone losing a cent. For 75 years, the FDIC has been protecting people's money." |
