Prior to reading the Moneysage blog, I had my 401K fully invested in stocks, and was getting my advice from an online subscription service tailored for US government employees. As I began to read the material on this site, I realized the that the advice I was getting, on the one hand, and the insights from Moneysage, on the other, diverged intellectually and conceptually. Persuaded by the force of the material on this site, in February 2008 I adjusted my portfolio by moving all my money into treasuries. An important part of my retirement has now been preserved.
